Depicting a girl gripped to a cliff with a downward gaze. A fine, dark impression. Signed in pencil to the lower right margin (from the edition of 1700 (printed for the Literary Guild of America with full margins)). Literature: Burne-Jones # 57. Sheet measurement: H 9.5" x W 7.5".
With pale light mat staining. Adhesive remains and staining along the extreme lower right sheet edge, measuring 2.25" (with associated skinning). Soft handling crease in the left margin. Stray pencil notation in the upper right corner verso. Otherwise no visible abrasions.
